Result of my early 4am departure for a safe trip on the deserted freeway. Not quite deserted and I got rammed from behind. That is a hospital bracelet on my wrist. Fifteen thousand bucks for the first night, they had no chance of keeping me for a second.
Those are hospital scrub pants I am wearing. They were a better choice than the gown with my bum sticking out after they cut off my good jeans. My sour expression is because I realised I could not drive my van home when I got to see it in the light of day. Charlie survived this one too!
Charlie makes a new friend. Her name is Emily. I was in the water scrubbing the boat bottom first time she paid a visit. Gave me a bit of a start. The shore is a couple of hundred yards away and the water about twenty feet deep.
Life before the motorhome. That's me in the tinny I bought for twenty bucks. Guy said it leaked a bit. Ah!, the joys of a little epoxy. I am keeping my eye out for a good buy in a 747 which might also leak around the rivets a little.
It's a tough life. That is Charlie taking his walk on deck. His little tree, to cock his leg, is on the rail on the other side, behind the second dinghy.
Dad, I want Corn Flakes for breakfast again,
