This page has been created for the serious experimenter to run the brightest LEDs using current control circuitry.

You are free to publish or distribute these circuits
as you wish.  Liability will be limited to a full refund of the price you
paid.  The circuit is provided on the assumption that intending users are
adequately qualified to assess its usefulness for their application.

Instructions - Look for AMC 7135  and download the spec sheet from the link below.

The resistor from the 12V rail to the LED array should be a 5W
rating to dissipate the heat safely.

The DX current source board is designed to be used in metal bodied
torches/flashlights which act as a heat sink.  If the board is not mounted
that way then a heat sink should be used.  A small square of copper say
10-15mm square carefully soldered to the tab of the chip will assist
greatly in keeping it cool.  The tab is grounded already if you look at
the circuit.so the heat sink could be used as an attachment point to mount
the board.

For Australians on old 2c piece would work but be careful not to heat the
chip too much.  A delicate touch is required not plumbing techniques. :)
